1. ABOUT US

 

Girls Gone Global - We provide a community-led group travel experience.

We are not a tour operators, travel agency, or provider of package holidays.

We do not sell or include flights, accommodation, transport, activities, or insurance.

Participants arrange and pay for these independently.

By applying, paying a deposit, or joining the experience, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. NATURE OF THE EXPERIENCE

 

Girls Gone Global offers:

Route planning

Travel coordination

Hosting and group organisation

Community and safety guidance

Participation is voluntary

All activities are optional

You are free to travel independently at any time

 

We do not:

 

Act as tour guides.

Supervise participants at all times.

Accept responsibility for individual decisions.

 

3. ELIGIBILITY

 

To join, you must:

Be 18 years or older.

Hold a valid passport.

Be physically and mentally capable of independent travel.

Have valid travel insurance (mandatory).

Agree to behave respectfully and responsibly.

 

We reserve the right to accept or decline any application.

 

4. APPLICATION & ACCEPTANCE

 

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

We may request a call or additional information.

 

Acceptance is confirmed only after:

Approval

Deposit payment

Written confirmation from us

 

5. PAYMENTS

 

About deposit:

A £50 deposit is required to join the waiting list.

 The £50 deposit is only refundable if the trip does not go ahead or insufficient numbers booked.

 The deposit becomes non-refundable once planning has begun.

 

Hosting Fee:

Total hosting fee: £500 incl deposit.

May be paid in full or via installments.

Must be paid in full at least 6 weeks before departure.

 

Group chat access is granted only once full payment is received.

 

6. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

 

No refunds will be given if:

The hosting fee becomes non-refundable 6 weeks before departure.

You leave the group by choice.

You are removed due to behaviour.

You experience illness, injury, arrest, or personal circumstances.

Additional payments made before the 6-week deadline (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.

 

7. CHANGES & FLEXIBILITY

 

Travel involves unpredictability - We cannot guarantee:

Weather

Transport schedules

Exact prices

Availability of activities or accommodation

 

If changes occur, we will:

 

Communicate clearly

Offer alternatives where possible

Adjust plans reasonably

 

Flexibility is a core part of this experience.

 

8. RESPONSIBILITY & RISK

 

By joining, you acknowledge that:

Travel involves inherent risks

You are responsible for your own:

Safety

Health

Belongings

Decisions

We are not liable for:

Injury

Illness

Loss or damage

Delays

Third-party services

 

Participation is at your own risk.

 

9. INSURANCE

 

Travel insurance is mandatory.

You must be covered for:

Medical emergencies

Repatriation

Activities you choose to participate in

 

Failure to hold valid insurance may result in removal from the experience without refund.

 

10. BEHAVIOUR & REMOVAL

 

We reserve the right to remove any participant without refund for behaviour including but not limited to:

Endangering yourself or others.

Illegal activity.

Aggression, harassment or discrimination.

Excessive intoxication.

Disruptive or disrespectful behaviour.

 

Removal may include loss of group chat access and hosting support.

 

11. CONTENT & MEDIA

 

By joining, you consent to:

Appearing in photos or videos captured during the experience.

Content being used for social media, marketing or documentation.

 

If you do not wish to be featured, you must notify us in writing.

 

12. DATA & PRIVACY

 

We collect personal information solely for:

Application processing

Emergency contact purposes

Group coordination

 

Your data will not be sold or shared unnecessarily.

 

13. GOVERNING LAW

 

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

 

Any disputes will be handled under UK jurisdiction.
