Do I need a sim?
We recommend an eSIM so you have data immediately on arrival.
WiFi is widely available, but having data is safer and more reliable.
We also reccomend to buy your esim and activate it on the day you go so that there is no stress.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes — 100% mandatory.
We can recommend providers. Approximate cost will be shared.
You can book this anytime after you have booked flights but dont leave it until last minute. (Atleast a week before you go)
Do I need vaccinations?
You can if it makes you feel safer, personally we have never been vaccinated. We stroke stray animals quite often, never been bitten by an animal (the wild dogs are really nice), we get bit by mosquitos, and have never been ill. But this is down to your personal preference.
Do I need visa?
No, the current law says you can travel to Thailand for up to 30 days without a visa if you're from the UK. If you plan to stay longer you can extend it whilst you're out there.
